We develop Caramel Colors using high grade ingredients or raw materials that comply with global quality standards. Following this, we ensure that edible carbohydrates such as glucose, invert sugar, malt syrup, molasses, sucrose and starch hydrolysates of finest quality are utilized for manufacturing our Caramel Colors. Also, acids, alkalis and salts used to assist caramelization are quality-tested as per good manufacturing practices. For assuring production of consistent and A-grade quality Caramel Colors, we further use stainless steel reactors, filters, storage tanks, etc., and conduct rigorous laboratory tests to control the composition of the material prior to caramelization. Time-temperature-pressure records are stringently maintained and test samples are withdrawn at regular intervals during the reaction cycle. This helps us in determining color development in the product, as well as keep tabs on characteristics like specific gravity, pH and viscosity.
In line with our quality benchmarks, our in-house quality inspectors make a complete evaluation of the finished product, mainly in terms of coloring strength and compatibility with other ingredients. They conduct several tests to determine critical characteristics of prepared Caramel Color, including tests for ascetainaing color strength, pH, viscosity, haze, resinification, ash, and compatibility tests with various food acids, salts and with alcohols.

We have taken the licence to manufacturing Invert Syrup from food and Enzymes Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) through Notional Research Development Corporation (NRDC) The technology was based on purely Invertase Enzymes and initially was not successful commercially. Forced with the failure of the product, we then took upon the task of improvising and blending the best technologies available so that a better product could be produced which would be better for blending with end products processing and manufacturing. Hence after long period of efforts and inhouse researches was born -Hybrid technology technology using Combined Cycle Process. The In House Research was assisted by Ministry of Food Processing and Ministry of Science and Technology. The Outcome of the process was a product which was totally free from Organic and Inorganic impurities and most suitable for Pharmaceutical Syrups and Formulations besides usage in Food and Beverage Industry. The new technology not only resulted in giving superior quality product but also reduced the optimum inversion time by half, thereby increasing the production capacities. We then alongwith NRDC filed, the Domestic Patent for the new technology and process for International Patents were underway. The technology is available for commercial usage from National Research Development Corporation.
